For Sunday, May 12: How do I receive personal revelation?

In preparation for our class on May 12, please study the following:
·               Read Ether 2-3
·               Read D&C 9: 7-9

Please watch and listen to the video about the testimonies of the Samoan seminary students.

Don’t forget to read all three verses of “Let the Holy Spirit Guide” (Hymns, no. 143) and look for words that describe how the Holy Ghost speaks to us. What are some other words that describe how the Holy Ghost communicates with us? Bring your list to class and we will discuss it.

Have a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious week!

April 21: Add on to today’s lesson

As we mentioned today, we will also discuss our class rules on Sunday, May 5. I want to you to think about how we can contribute to a better learning atmosphere in our class. These questions will help you think of ideas.
·      What are some things that each of us can do to help others in the class learn the important things we will be talking about?
·      Can you think of anything that would interfere with our learning?
When we come back together, we’ll decide on a few rules.

Don’t forget to do something thoughtful for your Secret Sister today or this week.

Have a fabulous week!

With love,
Sister Tapahe

We didn’t get to watch this short video clip on the “Restoration” in class today. Please view it this week as you reflect on our lesson from today.
This week: Make a list of blessings that you received because the gospel was restored. Share this list with your family and bring your list to church on Sunday.

Beehives,

I hope you had a lovely conference weekend. I usually enjoy this time because it rejuvenates my spirit and I want to better in my life. There were so many awesome talks given.

For Sunday’s lesson, our topic will be…

Why was a Restoration necessary?

Please read the following passages:

Apostasy,” and “Restoration of the Gospel,” both found in True to the Faith (2004), 13–14, 135–39, respectively.

Come to class prepared to discuss briefly the apostasy and the restoration.

See you Sunday!
